A word or two about a thing or two
Is torts and commercial liens the same in Scotland as it is in England? What paper work do I have to prepare for the lien?
Hi John,
In Scots Law a tort is know as a Delict, this is due to Scots Law operating from a Roman Law basis. i would not call it a Tort in Scotland as the Courts will fail to recognise this term.
The commercial lien process is relatively simple. You can find tons of templates online.

Really impressed by your talk.I have been researching and trying to implement the freeman way for about three years now.
I was in court the other day for non payment of council tax,on the premise that my council is acting illegally and the government and crown have breaches the covenant with the people of this country.

Guy, am starting a lien on a council employee, using Veronica’s book. It is CT so should I be addressing the head of collections or go for the ‘CEO’ ? What I am not clear on is who best to name and how to identify them correctly.
Everybody in this dept is culpable but obviously can’t do it for all of them.
I have seen the perp named thusly : MR. XXXX for CEO of (enter corp here ), do you think that would have more effect than simply addressing a single employee ?
Guy, Newstruth, I’m looking at using the commercial lien process as a defence/get the fu.k off, with DCA’s and CC Companies. The templates on Veronica’s site and book refer to England and Tort. Can I substitute Scotland for England and Delict for Tort?

I have completed a commercial lien from Veronica s template against Merseyside Police’s Chief Constable. It is regarding an officer constable Dean 1446 who loured me to a police station to collect property and then placed me under arrest for a fictitious charge. I was detained for only a few hours but suffered loss as i had not made plans to re-arrange appointments. In addition i was then dragged through the Magistrates process on three separate occasions, one of which was New Years Eve in 2010. The case was eventually withdrawn due to Merseyside Police failing to submit a single shred of evidence. I have attempted to have my Lien notarized, but the local solicitors are stating they wont do it because it is a political statement, any advice?
