The Great Depression of 1929 destroyed the lives of thousands of U.S. citizens, its effects stretching as far as Europe. Bruce Springsteen’s song “The Ghost of Tom Joad” from his third and most successful album “Born to Run” describes the aftermath of the crash, and the now poverty-stricken, depressed and desperate people of America.
Now look at what is actually happening in all of our countries, they now prefer to call a reccesion a glitch, a double dip recession a double dip.
IT IS INFACT A DEPRESSION!
