The European Union is probably the biggest unelected organisation ever to have ruled any sovereign country. The EU is very well adapted in usurping any country’s sovereign status. They in the EU are the politburo of politics as they care not about the masses. You know, the normal and everday kind of people like you and me?
Our Politicians on a national level and more so on a local level can do nothing, rien, zilch, zero to stop this onslaught of more and more rules, legislation, statutes, regulations and edicts issued by this unelected shower of unelected bastards. They are bastards as they have no father who has claimed them.
But, we could look at the history to see where they actually came from. Could it be China and Mao? I think not. Could it be National Socialism which led to the rise of Mr Hitler? Possibly! Could it be the Eastern block and the Soviets? Well it could be a combination of all of the above but this would then mean that there is no democracy in the EU!
Our own rights to decide what our needs are, who we contract with on a local and national level have been removed by the EU Parliament, so they say! The EU Parliament is nothing more than a non-entity that does not and cannot change EU policy. See the link yet? Policy and Politburo?
Unless the people of the United Kingdom actually wake up and say no then nothing will change.
This great country of ours does indeed have a Bill of Rights Act for both Scotland and England, Both are dated in the year 1689. Long time ago, I know, but those acts are still on the statute books.
It is not that I need anyone to tell me or allow me any rights, I know what my rights are and they do not have to be written down. However, these statutes actually state what our rights are in law, who am I to argue? The major issue is that the EU has basically said, “we don’t care”! Well EU, I do fucking care!
I do agree with the principles of this video! In particular the ludicrous legislation to make public buildings energy efficient, however, I am not quite sure the facts about driving hours are true, during the 90′s the Tiry government cherry picked the social chapter, my hubby was a truck driver at the time and was forced to drive articulated lorries around the Country working in excess of 55hrs per week!! The rest of Europe were working considerably less, it appears that when our government want to use the power of Europe against its people, then that is acceptable!!
I do think there also needs to be some fair and safe ruling regarding driving hours for bus drivers, they are privately owned, abolishing safe driving hours may lead to bus companies abusing and exploiting drivers! After all they are carrying precious loads!
Undoubtably some of these Laws are ridiculous, but it seems to me, there is still a lot of cherry picking going on, the people. Ever seem to benefit!!

Don’t you think that it is amazing that the EU working time regulations could be swept aside during the Government created panic over fuel? How easy was it to state that drivers could then work 60-70 hours per week? Remember that those fuel tanker drivers are not ordinary artic drivers, they are haz chem trained and carry extremely dangerous good that include diesel, petrol and aviation fuel.

Yes, it is amazing!! It’s always us that lose out!! I have always been sceptical about issues like these, however, the more I learn the more I know that we are screwed and enslaved from the day we are born!! I find great comfort meeting like minded folk like yourself, but I find I am increasingly losing friendships with long time friends because of my views!! I couldn’t give a bugger!! I prefer my new like minded brothers and sisters!!!
