The Shame of ‘Allowing’ the Gaoling of Robert Green: All of us have to take responsibility!

Neil Foster has asked me to get the word out on this. Please feel free to link to this or even better to re-blog about it.

I just want to start this by saying that the jailing of Robert Green for the ‘crime’ of distributing leaflets on the streets of Aberdeen, Scotland, is one if not THE, most heinous miscarriage of ‘justice’, or as it should be called, ABUSE of judicial power this country has seen.

Please… All of you reading this write to Robert at the address below:-

HMP ABERDEEN, Craiginches, 4 Grampian Place, Aberdeen, Scotland. AB11 8FN – Phone: 01224 238300

This man has tirelessly campaigned for real justice for Hollie Greig, a repeatedly sexually abused Down’s Syndrome woman who has named people in high positions of power who were involved in her abuse at every strata of the Scottish establishment, from doctors and social workers to police and the judiciary itself.

This is why Robert now languishes in prison at the beginning of his 1 year sentence.

The following video will shock many with its use of language. However, I believe it has to be shown far and wide to a world audience to get the message out that as human beings we must feel a large degree of shame that this atrocity has been allowed to be perpetrated upon a gentleman of Robert’s standing IN OUR NAMES.

This is what is referred to as ‘the justice system’ but it bears no semblance of justice to anyone except those charged with the task of ensuring that Robert’s efforts in exposing paedophilia in the higher echelons of the Scottish establishment remain hidden from the public. If not then the public rage would I feel be unsurpassed and unprecedented leading to a genuine people’s revolution against those inflicting sexual torture and penal sentences on innocent children and campaigners of Robert’s integrity.

This is why the truth can never be allowed to see the light of day.

The decision to post the following video was taken in light of the fact that the so called ‘alternative media’ is no longer an ‘alternative’. It is now the ONLY media worth anything within the confines of its, in many cases and with Sovereign Independent UK being no exception, limited resources and funding.

We are all up against the beast that labels itself the ‘mainstream media’ when in fact it is nothing less than the ‘propagandist’ media designed, less than purely, to avoid anything of importance that would unsettle the status quo and to facilitate any cover-up required by those in power of any issue of public interest, regardless of the heinous nature of such issues. Therein lies the role of the media as we have it today and we must fight this beast simply with the truth. We can no longer stand idly by and watch such abuse of power and allow, by our inactions or fear of actions, this same abuse of power, or indeed self censorship, from deterring us from reporting that which needs to be reported.

The video which follows is an example.

I would warn anyone who is offended by bad language that this video may shock. However, the use of language in the context of the video is understandable in light of the abuse of justice in the case of Hollie Greig and the subsequent jailing of Robert Green.

That said there are a number of issues pointed out in the video which require some form of redress, not as a criticism of the gentlemen featured in the video, but as a general explanation to answer his, what would be seen by some as personal attacks on other individuals and groups who this gentleman feels, haven’t done enough with respect to helping Robert Green’s case.

In the first instance, it may have done Robert more harm than good, in terms of a lengthier prison sentence, had a large number of people turned up at the court. Furthermore, in light of the verdict, there would have been a danger that with emotions running high that violence may well have broken out through sheer frustration and bitter anger.

That’s only my own thought on the matter and perhaps I’m completely wrong… who knows?

As a Scotsman living in the south of England, and who like the gentleman in the video is living in poverty, I was unable to drive the 800 miles there and back to support Robert which I would have gladly done if I could have afforded it.

With that in mind, I’ve spent the previous week organising a meeting for a public talk on The Lawful Bank for Roger Hayes, who is mentioned in the video. The current round of talks which Roger is undertaking at present is a time consuming and exhaustive endeavour which is about raising awareness in the public mind that there is a solution to the financial problems facing many millions of ordinary people across the country today, myself and the gentleman presenting the video included.

There is a financial war being perpetrated on us all under the guise of ‘austerity’ which has many facets and consequences, one of which is removing the financial means away from those who can and will stand up to the tyranny being imposed upon us. This is the position in which I find myself and completely agree with the video in this context.

However, although I do understand that there is a great deal of anger and frustration out there which, although is justified and perhaps warranted on occasion, I feel that in this case, to expect large numbers of people to turn up at every event of importance, and be in no doubt that this case is at present top of the list in terms of importance, as the gentleman in the video understands from his own financial restraints as pointed out by him, there are many of us in the same position of poverty who can no longer afford the basics to look after ourselves in any semblance of normality.

Again as a Scotsman I am deeply ashamed to be associated with a country that allows such injustice to be served on a member of the public. This is a criminal act by a criminal government which of course needs to be exposed. The only suggestion I can make is that as many people as possible take to the streets of Aberdeen to distribute leaflets in the same way as Robert did which subsequently led to his arrest and consequent 1 year jail sentence.

Physical actions will achieve results. There is no doubt about it although having spent 2 days campaigning for the aforementioned meeting on The Lawful Bank it is a thankless task taking up many hours with the costs of carrying out such actions.

However, I do agree that campaigning online, although it is a tremendous resource and technology for spreading information, it is to a large degree simply ‘preaching to the converted’ in terms of the insular nature of the internet.

In my opinion this is not by accident either with the powers that be more than happy to see armchair activists in their millions sitting at home chatting amongst themselves as opposed to taking to the streets or organising meetings and talking to the uninformed general public. This is where the real activism can be far more effective than hours spent online, navel gazing, arguing amongst ourselves and weeding out disinformation.

To close, the following video expresses a powerful view in a passionate and human manner through frustration and anger which I can certainly concur with as I feel, as many I’m sure feel the same, that this abomination of ‘justice’ must be exposed and the whole house of cards brought down with it through peaceful actions on the streets, whether this be in the form of handing out information or protesting outside the prison holding Robert Green.

One thing is certain. This case will not go away with the jailing of Robert Green. The establishment I feel has made a crucial error in that they have now made Robert a martyr for a cause which the establishment have tried unsuccessfully to sweep under the carpet.

They are in panic and we as a nation of individuals must stand up and continue to expose, not only this act of barbarism and corruption, but any other present and future issue which comes to our attention.

We should not be scared of posting videos such as the one below due to some bad language or the fear that we may upset our friends and fellow activists. They understand as well as I do that we all at times feel exactly as the gentleman you’re about to hear below.

Tuesday March 6th 2012 Edinburh Scotland 9am Scottish Parliament Holyrood House.

For the attention of all UK press and media offices.

My name is Sam Edwards and, I am the Chief Executive to the campaign One voice for the kids and the Against child abuse network.

I am writing to you to inform you and your organisation of a high-profile event called the “Worldwide Peaceful Protest Against Child Abuse”. This event is scheduled to take place on the 6th March 2012 and, as the title suggests, this protest is worldwide.

The purpose of this protest is to raise the much needed awareness in to the effects of all types of childhood abuse and how it irrevocably changes the lives of so many young and vulnerable children around the world. Its primary goal is to get people and organisations talking to one another in order to create a meaningful dialogue between them. We are opening this event to all support groups and organisations that help and provide vital support to people affected by abuse. . Imagine a protest so large, all protesting on the same day around the world at as many of the world’s Government Offices as possible. To date, 38 worldwide countries are taking part on the 6th March.

What’s the alternative? Is there one? Ask the victims, see what they say. Listen to them, really listen to them. It is them and the people around them that have to deal with their wrecked lives while some pervert fulfils a fetish or a yearning for power.

How long is it going to be before cases like Baby Peter don’t even make the news or is that already happening? Dead is still dead while perpetrators walk free. Is this the society we have become? With your help and support, this protest can and will help to change a child’s life and their future but, only if we stand shoulder to shoulder and unite. The first step is to get the groups working together, which is why the Peaceful Protest was created. Get involved. For more information, please visit our websites or you can email our press team manager Andrew Peacher via: andrewpeacher@btconnect.com or, alternatively, you can contact Andrew on: 01507 477 433 (during normal office hours 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri)
